Overview
Multispectral survey of 600-acre coffee plantation in Huila, Colombia. Identified disease pressure zones and optimized fertilization schedules, boosting yield by 18%.
Project Overview
Drone Guys conducted a comprehensive multispectral survey across 600 acres of coffee plantation in Colombia's Huila region, one of the country's premier coffee-growing zones. Using precision drone technology, we mapped crop health, identified disease hotspots, and generated actionable agronomic insights.
Precision Agriculture in Action
Our drones performed NDVI and multispectral imaging passes at 30m altitude, capturing data across 6 spectral bands. The resulting maps were delivered within 48 hours with a full agronomic report highlighting fertilization and treatment zones.
Results
Identified 3 disease pressure hotspots covering 45 acres and 2 nutrient deficiency zones. Client applied targeted treatment, resulting in an estimated 18% yield improvement and $120,000 in additional revenue.
